Course Objectives
Health, Safety, and Hygiene
Help learners master the health, safety, and hygiene standards needed to perform aesthetic procedures safely, ensuring the well-being of both practitioners and clients.
Client Consultations
Build skills in conducting detailed client consultations, including assessing needs, expectations, and treatment suitability, to deliver personalized care and boost client satisfaction.
Cell Biochemistry and Biology
Provide a solid understanding of cell biology, helping learners see how aesthetic treatments work at the cellular level to make informed treatment decisions.
Skin Morphology and Inflammation
Teach the structure and function of the skin, along with the inflammatory response, to better manage and anticipate skin reactions during treatments.

- Unit 1 CO401: Health, safety and hygiene for aesthetic procedures
- Unit 2 CO402: Client consultation for aesthetic procedures
- Unit 3 AP401: The biochemistry and biology of cells
- Unit 4 AP402: Skin morphology and the inflammatory response
- Unit 5 AP403: Skin disorders and diseases relative to aesthetic practice
- Unit 6 AP409: Skin rejuvenation using micro needling
- Unit 7 AP410: Skin rejuvenation using superficial chemical peels
- Unit 8 AP301: Skincare to support aesthetic procedures
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- An applicant must be aged 18 or over.
- NO PREVIOUS qualification or experience in Beauty and Aesthetic Practice is required – THE COURSE IS OPEN TO EVERYONE
- A First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent.
