Course Objectives
Health, Safety, and Hygiene for Aesthetic Procedures
Learners will gain the knowledge and skills to implement essential health, safety, and hygiene practices when preparing for and performing aesthetic treatments. This ensures a safe and professional environment for both practitioners and clients.
Client Consultation for Aesthetic Procedures
This foundational component supports the practical aspects of the qualification. Learners will learn how to conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs, tailor treatments, and achieve the desired results.
Skin Rejuvenation Using Laser, Light, and Energy-Based Devices
Learners will develop the ability to use laser, light, and energy-based technologies to rejuvenate the skin, address imperfections, and treat mild pigment-related conditions.
Hair Reduction Using Laser, Light, and Energy-Based Devices
Learners will be trained to use laser, intense light sources, and energy-based devices to reduce unwanted hair growth. (Note: This unit is part of the Level 4 Certificate in Laser, Light, and Energy-Based Procedures but is not included in the Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation.)

AWARDING BODY
QUALIFI is recognised and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulator).
The Ofqual reference number is RN5160. Ofqual regulates qualifications, examinations, and assessments in England.
QUALIFICATION
The QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice is made up of 35 credits which equates to 350 hours of TQT.
Units Covered
- To achieve this qualification a learner must successfully complete the four mandatory units – 35 credits:
- Health, safety and hygiene for aesthetic procedures
- Client consultation for aesthetic procedures
- Skin rejuvenation using laser, light and energy-based devices
- Hair reduction using laser, light and energy-based devices
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- An applicant must be aged 18 or over.
- An applicant has achieved a Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy or have equivalent qualifications and/or substantial industry experience for direct entry to Level 4.
- For direct entry into the QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation, learners must choose AP301 Skincare as an optional unit to gain essential knowledge for the diploma's aesthetic procedures.
- A First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent.
PROGRESSION PATHWAYS
QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate in Laser, Light and Energy-Based Procedures will enable learners to progress to:
- QUALIFI Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice
- Employment in an associated profession.

- A formal agreement detailing all terms and conditions related to your participation in the training program will be sent to you via email, accompanied by an invoice for payment.
- Upon receipt of the signed contract and payment, you will be officially enrolled in the program.
